Hello and welcome to the BOW forum site. BOW stands for Bastards of War and was assembled back in 2002 on the game Medal of Honor. We have since collaborated on several games and I must say we've always held our own in a fight. This forum is intended as a place for original BOW members to congregate and to possibly generate interest in new members as well as expand our gaming retinue.
Our newest gaming adventure is the MMO Urban Dead. As members collect in the game we will be forming our band of brothers and securing a suburb as our own. As more information becomes available I will make it known. Until then happy hunting!

Hello. I've been playing with the thought of creating a small survivor group and try to organize a defense against the undead mobs. Obviously, so have you, so I might as well join you instead. It seems like you need more people with initiative here. I'll give you some of my thoughts, so that we perhaps get a process going. Please bare with me; I'm no expert at this, neither do I want to gain control of the group. I just thinks it would be fun to try and get this group working. First, I think that you need to abandon the thought of controlling the whole suburb at the moment. This group is way to small. Instead I suggest finding a small area, maybe 3x3 blocks or so, settling there and gather information about it; how many survivors there are, threat level, barricades and similar tings. Second, I suggest that the group's early objectives are something like this: - keeping the barricades in our area at good levels - create a dedicated revive-post in our area and inform people about it (this demands that we actually have someone able to revive...) - organize scouts who patrol the nearlying area - gain experience I picture that the most work to begin with would be scouting and directing members to zombies, so that they can gain skills. When players reach higher levels and have less need for XP, they start actively barricading, recruiting and so. Third, we should focus on training and organization. Team work is important, however many need to learn how to work as a team. Specific duties and a starter's guide to how to do those duties could be a good idea. Let me know what you think of this. Even if you totally disagree, we at least have a discussion going. I am in central Earletown at the moment, but I need a revive. Let me know if you can help me, and I'll PM you my profile.

Not much anymore. We used to play Medal of Honor a lot. Also played Battlefield 1942 a little. We were just a little college dorm clan. We had 5 orignal members: Skippy, Rogue, ChrisDude, Lanedemon, and Thunderblade.

Yes, we revive everyone who ask for it and use our revive point at Ames Plaza in eastern Earletown, regardless of whether they are BOW members or not.

Edit your UD profile and put BOW as the group. Then create an account on this messageboard. That is it because I added your profile to our wiki page as a Hunter/Medic. (http://wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/BOW).
Nice to meet you. :-)

You will know if you are infected because you would have been bitten and told it was infected. While a zombie this isn't a big deal, but if you are revived without being healed then you will loss 1 HP per move (search, step or anything except talking). Evidently FB47 has been disbanded. That is too bad because they did a great job and I personally really liked them. :-( You could always join our group and if they get back together you could switch back over to them.
