Chris, from Indiana. I enjoy long walks on the beach... no wait...
I loves me some video games and I'm a giant geek. I watch anime and work in a hippie bookstore warehouse.
Skippy and I have been friends for a very very long time and I will never forgive him for wearing the same shirt as I did for Picture Day in kindergarten.

I'm Cliff, I'm in the Atlanta, GA Area. Hard as it might be to believe I'm a pastor. I'm happy to engage in discussions of religion, but those don't include ramming my belief at you, or you disrespecting mine, besides aren't we here first and foremost to keep the zeds dead like they are supposed to be? I've always had an affinity for Sci-fi and horror films, esspecially those in a zombie Apocalypse so when I stumbled onto UD I was roarin to give it a try. I'm big into music, I play 6 instruments. And I know just enough about computers to not get ripped off at the store and keep slightly ahead of the bell curve. Look forward to seeing you in town.

No matter how you feel about the war, this is a sobering thought. -L Thought for the day:
In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America, he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in...and how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ 2. The American G.I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom

Greetings tony, I'm Presbyterian myself but I went to school with a good Lutheran Friend. And have a few other pastoral associates who are Lutheran. A little Ecumentical Zombie hunting is a good thing.

Dont know if I've posted in here before...
Name's Paul. I'm older than dirt, but still young at heart.
I can play a basic guitar, but at one stage was a singer in both a choir and a couple of local rock bands. I now do more work with live sound and electronics.
I'm a confessed agnostic/athiest, but I have no issues with people having religion.
When I'm not getting my eardrums blown away by some guitarist shredding it through the PA I'm setting up and mixing for, I race a car. Needless to say, I'm nuts, and always broke...

No matter how you feel about the war, this is a sobering thought. -L As an American Expat living in the UK, I'd like to add some perspective here. As someone who has lived both in the USA and abroad in Britain, I can tell you quite honestly that America never experiences anti-american sentiment. The news outlets report views differing from those of the mainstream of America but rarely, and are more often a soapbox for the administration than not. Now, with the recent victory for the Democrats in the mid-term elections, it has become apparent that public opinion has shifted largely against the president's administration, and therefore there is more of an anti-war point of view being expressed, but it's by no means anti-american. As far as negativity goes, it's perfectly natural to be negative about a war that has resulted in thousands of brave servicemen and women being premanently crippled, traumatized, and killed for a complete lack of worthwhile social change, a bolstering of militant activities in the middle east, and what increasingly looks like a civil war and eventual theocratic state. Well, that's awfully convenient for Blair; many people want into the UK for working purposes. Unfortunately, not only is Tony Blair not "England's Prime Minister" (rather he is Britain's Prime Minister - a subtle distinction for americans, who are sadly on average rather uninformed about places outwith their country) but he's almost universally reviled within the UK, and is being elbowed out of his position due to overwhelming negative public sentiment, particularly over his continuing support for the War in Iraq. When he took the UK to war and helped President Bush fabricate evidence for WMD's, he ruined a lot of his previous credibility, so it's hard for me to believe anything he says with regards to the measure of a country. I have to disagree. The unionists that died on strike to secure fair labour laws. The suffragists that died so women had a voice. The civil rights activists that died so we might all be treated equally. The anarchists that fought against the fascists in the Spanish Civil War and everywhere else. Everyone, everywhere; Iran, America, Israel, China, Korea, and every other country in the world; that ever died because they were different - be they killed because of race, religion, politics, or sexual orientation. All these people died for us, and many more.
