What follows is advice for any new members that would join us. Contribute as you wish.
On Firearms:
You want to get firearms as soon as you can. With revive syringes taking 10 AP to use, and a marked increase of rotters, firearms matter both as a source of experience and a means of defense.
I recommend that one carries enough ammunition to do at least 100 damage. For inexperienced shooters, it can be twice that.
On FAKs:
Keep at least one First Aid Kit (FAK) on you at all times. If you are a healer, carry more of them, obviously. You never know if you might encounter someone in need of healing, or if, after you get revived (which happens to even the best of us eventually), you might need it to get yourself uninfected.
Also, you can use FAKs to uninfect a zed before you revive it. This will allow that player to get to safety without the infection on his back and get you a little extra XP besides.

Rules of engagement:
If you can revive a zed, do so. If the target is a PKer show no mercy. If you meet a survivor, don't attack the survivor unless they are a known PKer.
On revives:
They are decent XP, but you do it to help your fellow survivors, and teammates. Remember that they cost 10 AP every time you use one, so plan accordingly. Make sure you will have enough AP to get back to a safe haven after you use one.
Tagging:
If you are a scientist, using the tagger strategy (tag as many zeds as you can) can earn you a lot of XP in the right places, and can provide a valuable service to more experienced scientists. Be sure to have a safe haven with a barricade. Most friendlier locales will have areas people without freerunning can get into.

I would like to add that BOW does not condone combat revives. Reviving zombies in the field that do not want to be revived will only lead to more ZKing, PKing, and GKing. As that's how survivors that want to stay zombies extract their revenge on the living. Only revive zombies that are at the designated revive points which can be found in their respective suburb specific threads on this forum. Also give priority of revives in this order:
1. Members of BOW 2. Survivors that post their profile on the forums for a revive 3. Any remaining zombies at the revive point that have been scanned for Brain Rot.
Zombies that are standing at revive points that have the Brain Rot skill are to be killed on site for clogging the RP. If you do not have enough AP to extinguish the zombies existence then post a link to their profile on the forums so other members can eliminate them with extreme prejudice (That was a lot of E words!).
As far as weapons go I suggest finding a Fire Axe first and using that to level up with as it doesn't require reloading or ammunition so valuable AP is saved in that regard.
