Hey just a quick ZBOW question. What suburb are we planning on trying to base ourselves in?

We haven't really planned anything, as far as I see. To throw out a suggestion, I suggest Brooksville. It is categorized as a moderately dangerous suburb on the wiki, and it's the first area I've found since I spawned in West Becktown which wasn't entirely dead (West Becktown and Molebank) and not pretty much locked up (Lerwill Heights, I guess). No other zombie groups are listed, so with some decently effective roleplaying, we could try and coordinate some of the feral zombies, or maybe even recruiting if we feel like that.
Disclaimer: My suggestion of Brooksville has nothing to do with me currently being there and being too lazy to move anywhere else. Oh, wait... That has a lot to do with me currently being there and being too lazy to move anywhere else (2 AP per block hurts...).

I seem to remember that when BOW was only about a month old, we had a special event. I think it was called Operation Alpha, though my memory is shaky. Joe East and Skippy may remember what I'm talking about. We planned for about a week gathering ammunition. And then we gathered together on MSN Messenger and simultaneously logged in to UD and cleared almost all of Earletown of zombies.
Anyone interested in something similar?

Hell yeah I remember that! I think it would be interesting to try it again in some form or another!
P.S. For anyone that is interested in seeing how the last one of these went the thread is located in the restricted archives in the archives section. It's on the second page at the bottom of the list. Oh, and yes it was called Operation Alpha.

That could have been fun. However, since Earletown is pretty quiet nowadays, I think we might get more excitement out of it if we pick i different suburb. How about Dulston? It's the only suburb within 3 suburbs radius that is listed as very dangerous.

I'd be down with an Operation Alpha 2! Sounds like a blast.

Wow. You're gone for a week and you miss a lot! Sorry about my recent absence guys, I went on vacation to Florida with my girlfriend to visit my grandparents and had no internet down there, not to mention my laptop died before I left (hence me not telling anyone here I would be gone lol), and I also had a minor car accident on the way down.
Sooooo! While you were all busy fighting zeds I was fighting traffic! Any whozee, i'm back again and finishing getting caught up on the news that i've missed since friday of last week and i'll try to make a larger post about some things that i've read. Talk to you guys soon!

After discovering that zombies do in fact recieve XP for taking down barricades, my zombie now has a simpler set of rules* to follow: 1) Attack survivors if possible, 2) Attack barricades if possible, 3) Move to an empowered building. I still haven't encountered any other ZBOW zombies despite clicking every profile I see. * The rules are more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules. *yarr*
