I guess you all have noticed that posts have a tendency of disappearing and that threads rarely hit 2 or more pages on this forum. Well, that's because of me. I haven't been a regular member of many forums, but those I have attended to, have often more or less drowned in off-topic posts and were both messy and difficult to maneuver in for new members. As I really enjoy being a member of this group, I've done my best to prevent this from happening here. However, if any of you thinks that I'm driving this too far, please let me know. I seriously don't want to ruin anybody's fun by being a "Forum Nazi" or anything. Anyways, this thread is for random chit-chat, outbursts of joy or anger, what your character did today, or anything else that could be counted as off-topic in the more practically-related threads. I won't touch this, I promise.

This happened at the "Revive list" thread. I found it quite funny, but since it strictly speaking was blocking the revive list, I made this thread instead. I present to you: "Pregnant dog". I just finished reviving you Dirty, and I must say i'm not sure that I like that it now takes 10AP to revive someone... I'm not a big fan of the change either, especially because it foils my current plan to slowly gather 20+ syringes and then go on a spree all over Earletown. Which is exactly the sort of game braking manuver that this rule change is responding to... Yeah, thanks a lot for that man, tis much appreciated, feels good to have the old heart pumpin' again. And yeah, the 10AP thing's a pregnant dog but maybe i'll get the chance to pay you back some day... EDIT: What the f**k?? I typed in bit ch and it changed it to pregnant dog. That is so f**kin' cool!!! Hahaha!!! I like that about the pregnant dog... Made me laugh. Lol. I like that somehow changing the colors of he letters avoided the sensor. Perhaps we should change our name to the Illegitimate Sons of War? Actually, I'm all for a swearing free forum, but it's just so funny. Yeah the colour change thing was a wee trick i picked up back in 'nam. Hey i wonder what'll happen if i type in bit chin'? 'Cus 'pregnant dogging' just sounds like some weird fetish or something... Let's find out....... pregnant dogin'!!!! EDIT:lol Eeexcellent... Seems like we'd better start keeping an eye out for who we revive now. Maybe we should make a new revive point in western Earletown and have an information campaign where we tell people to give us their profile here if they want a revive. I don't think it's worth spending 30+ APs to revive someone who'll just stand outside waiting to be killed. Pregnant dog... That's funny. Are you saying to only revive more experienced players? This new rule was brought in to try to cut down on combat revives, wasn't it? To take away the one-hit kill they provide in a siege or something? If zeds are that bothered why don't they get brain rot? It surely takes some dedication to zombiehood to be involved in a siege? Anyhoo, I suppose this reinforce the zed numbers a fair bit. Are you saying to only revive more experienced players? No, I just meant that we should revive people who'll try to stay alive afterwards, not those who only want to play zombie. I actually have no problems with zombie numbers growing. This is a zombie apocalypse game after all, and survivors have been on the top as long as I've played. Heh heh, pregnant dog. I think i'm going to start saying that now to confuse the hell out of people.

2 comments, 1) I like the way that you keep all of the threads under 2 pages- keep it up... 2)pregnant Dog sounds like the name of a Monty Python sketch.

I'm actually fairly high on FAKs at the minute. Having a hell of a time trying to find ammo though, i've been in this PD in rhodenbank for 3 days now, just searching and i'm coming up with barely anything. And without a decent shotgun by my side just how am i supposed to amuse myself, eh?

Hey, I got a question.
AP's are restored at the rate of one every half hour, right? So does that mean that they are restored on the half hour or half an hour after your last move?
For example, if i make a move at 3:55 will i have another AP restored at 4:00 or will i have to wait for half an hour?
It's probably a retarded question, but hey, i'm kinda new at this, gimme a break....

Short Answer: At 4:00 Long Answer: In this game everything is designed to work as simply as possible. It is simpler to give everyone AP simulataneously, and to not have to track when people are online or not, therefore, you will get AP every half hour.

Thanks, guys. I had problems finding pistol clips while restocking on ammo last time; by the time I found the first one, after about 50-60 APs, I had already found 8 or 9 shotgun shells... I do like the shotgun, it's no that, but I'd rather find 6 pistol shots than 1 shotgun shot. We've broken the "members online at the same time" record.

Cool thanks for the answer man.
I was trying to work out the most efficient ways to play the game and that'll help a lot. Cheers.

I was totally thrown by the April Fools joke today. I spent about five minutes wondering what the hell was going on. Also, does the news mean that rotters appear on the NecroNet?

The April Fools joke was great. I didn't fall for it though; I am very scepical to everything new today. I don't read the news that way, but that it's either easier or guaranteed to identify rotters with a DNA extractor. I'm not sure though.
